20 Weeks!

HALF WAY!!!

It's hard to believe that I am half way through! Then it's also hard to believe that I am ONLY half way! Yikes! I feel like I have SOOOO far to go!

This past Monday was the big appointment at the doctor's office! We had the big ultrasound and found out that we are having...

A BOY!!!

Yay! We are very excited! I was concerned about if we had a girl how I was going to tell people that I really don't want a ton of pink stuff becuase if you know me at all, you know I am not a pink kind of girl! So now I don't have to worry about that! Blue it is!!

And it just so happens that blue is my favorite color!

I have already had some people talking about having showers for me. That makes me very excited! I can't wait to start getting stuff for the baby! That's the best part about having a baby isn't it? All the cute stuff! Well, until you actually HAVE the baby, then that's the best part! But I am hoping that getting some cute stuff will help me make it through the last part of the pregnancy!

He is the size of a Cantaloupe this week! Wow!! I can't believe I'm finally at the cantaloupe stage!

Baby's digestive system is busy creating meconium (a tarry black substance made of swallowed amniotic fluid, digestive secretion and dead cells), which will fill the first diaper after birth. And, speaking of the diaper situation... baby's genitals are now fully formed!

Well, that wasn't a very fun description!

...I think I need to go have some cantaloupe! I LOVE cantaloupe!! My mom used to buy some at the store and cut it up and have it in the fridge and I would eat it in NO time! We couldn't not keep that in the house!! YUM!!

Anyway, here is my 20 week bump!
