Aw!! So cute! I felt a few little flutters from our sweet potato last week, but haven't felt anything since then. I can't wait until Tom can feel it!
Here are my belly pictures from last week!
Wow! I'm getting pretty big!
Week 19!
I am still having a very good pregnancy! My only complaints are that my feet and my back are killing me! Tommy has been a good hubby and has gotten me Epsom salt to soak my feet in, puts it in a big pot with warm water and he even gives me foot massages! (Yes Mom, I said foot massages!) He just kind of pushes on my feet...if he starts rubbing, I just about come out of my seat laughing! He thinks that's pretty funny too! He won't think it's funny when I kick him in the head the next time he does it!
I tell him the massages are his fatherly duty right now! He's a good sport! I'm just crazy about him!
This week Courtney is going to be so excited about our little fruit! It's a MANGO!! (Courtney loves mangos!) So go have a mango for my little mango!
Vernix caseosa, a greasy white substance made of lanugo, oil and dead skin cells (yum) now coats baby's skin, shielding it from the amniotic fluid. (Picture yourself after a nine-month bath, and the need for protection makes sense.) You might actually get to see the vernix at birth, especially if baby is premature.
Well, that's not a very fun description of what's going on this week! Kind of gross! Now go enjoy that mango! haha
My belly has definitely gotten bigger in the last week! Here it is:
Lastly, Tom and I bought our first item for the baby! It's something I had been looking for since I found out I was preggers...
And I am very excited that next week, actually 3 days, count them - 3 days, we will know what our little sweet potato/mango is! :)
